ABC TV: Selby v Mai

The second men’s semi-final from the 2010 World Cup at Warilla will feature on ABC TV this week as defending champion Leif Selby clashes with Canada’s Vincent Mai.

With Australian teammate Anthony Kiepe awaiting the victor in the final, Selby is just two wins away from becoming the first player to mount a successful title defence, but the Canadian is a fierce opponent who cannot be taken lightly.

Having grown up on the Warilla surface, the world number two will have the support of the home crowd firmly behind him when he continues his tilt at history.

But having survived the repechage, Mai is a fighter and will be doing all he can to ruin Selby’s party.
